Ballysaggart is a small rural community in County Waterford along the Blackwater River valley. The village connects via the R672, about 45km from Cork through the N25 and local roads, or 35km west from Waterford city. From Dublin, take the M9 south to Waterford then head west. A couple of public fast chargers serve electric vehicles in the area. The winding country roads pass traditional farmland, stone walls, and the odd castle ruin. The main draw is the nearby Blackwater Distillery, where you can tour traditional whiskey production facilities and sample locally crafted spirits.
