Ballyliffin sits at the tip of the Inishowen Peninsula, Donegal's most remote corner overlooking the Atlantic. The drive from Dublin takes about four hours via the M1 and N13 through Letterkenny, then winding country roads R238 and R242. From Belfast, take the A2 coastal route through Derry. The village has become a proper destination for electric cars with ten fast charging stations nearby. What puts this tiny place on the map are its championship golf courses, the Old Links and Glashedy Links, which actually host the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open.
