Ballygarvan is a small Cork village sitting 15 kilometers southeast of the city along the R613, which connects straight to the N25 national route. It's a handy stop coming from Cork Airport, just 8 kilometers north, and serves as a gateway to Trabolgan Holiday Village's indoor waterpark and the golf courses at Fota Island. The N25 is your main route from Cork city, with the R613 taking you right into the village and on toward Midleton and the eastern coast. O'Keeffe's pub has been run by the same family for over four generations.
