Ireland
Ballycumber sits on the eastern shore of Lough Ree in County Offaly, serving as a gateway to one of the Shannon's largest lakes. The village lies about 120 kilometres from Dublin via the M4 and N6, with Athlone just 20 minutes south on the N55. The R357 runs directly through the settlement, connecting to the broader road network. A small harbour with stone quayside welcomes Shannon cruisers and pleasure boats, providing access to over 100 square kilometres of navigable water stretching north toward Lanesborough.
