Ballston Spa is a historic village in Saratoga County, about 30 miles north of Albany via I-87 and Route 67. The downtown sits along Kayaderosseras Creek, with Route 50 connecting north to Saratoga Springs and south toward the Capital District. The village maintains its original 1807 iron fence around Wiswall Park, one of New York's oldest surviving municipal boundaries.
