Ballinskelligs (Baile an Sceilg)

Ballinskelligs sits on Kerry's southwest coast overlooking the bay and the famous Skellig Islands. The village makes a grand base for exploring the Ring of Kerry, reached via the N70 from Cork in 2.5 hours or Dublin in 4.5 hours through Killarney. From Killarney itself it's an hour's drive, while Waterville is only 15 minutes along the coast road. The narrow roads need care with all the tour buses and cyclists about, but there are 5 EV charging points for electric cars.
