Ballinlough is a handy stop along the N25 coastal route, sitting 25 kilometers east of Cork city and just 20 minutes from Cork Airport. The town serves as a gateway to attractions like Trabolgan Holiday Village and Fota Island's golf courses, with good connections to Waterford via the N25 and local roads linking to Midleton and Youghal. The centerpiece is a lovely stone bridge from the 1800s that still carries traffic over a tributary of the River Lee, giving the main street real character.
