Ballingdon straddles the Essex-Suffolk border alongside Sudbury, accessed via the A134 from the A14 or through the Stour Valley on quieter B-roads. The area offers decent EV charging with roughly 50 fast chargers nearby, mainly in Sudbury's centre. An 18th-century toll bridge still spans the River Stour, marking where travelers once paid to cross between counties.
