Baldoyle

Ireland
Baldoyle is a residential suburb about 12 kilometres northeast of Dublin city centre, evolved from a fishing village into part of the city's sprawl. The R105 coastal road from town takes you through Clontarf in about 25 minutes, offering decent views of Dublin Bay along the way. From Dublin Airport, it's roughly 20 kilometres via the M1 and M50. The old Baldoyle Racecourse dominates the area, with its abandoned grandstand still keeping watch over the former track that once hosted proper racing meets.
