Balbriggan sits 30 kilometers north of Dublin city where the River Tolka meets the Irish Sea. Take the M1 motorway from Dublin, connecting to the R132 through town center, or catch the train on the Dublin to Dundalk line. The medieval castle built by the de Courcy family anchors the town's historical appeal, while the harbor still hosts a small fishing fleet.
