Balbithan is a small farming village in rural Aberdeenshire, about 20km northwest of Aberdeen via the A96. Surrounded by rolling farmland and scattered woodlands, it's connected by country lanes to nearby Kintore and Heatherwick. Aberdeen International Airport is roughly 25km southeast, and electric vehicle drivers can access approximately 100 public fast chargers in the broader area. The village sits within sight of the distinctive Bennachie hills.
