Baildon perches on the moors above Bradford, connected by the A6038 Otley Road and close to Leeds Bradford Airport. Popular routes include scenic drives through Ilkley to the Dales and visits to nearby Saltaire's Victorian mills. The town retains one of Yorkshire's few working windmills, still grinding flour using traditional stone wheels.
