Awre

England

England

Awre is a Forest of Dean village on the River Severn's eastern bank, reached via the A48 from either the Severn crossings or Gloucester. Popular routes include short trips to Newnham for services and longer journeys to Chepstow or into South Wales. The area has over 100 public EV charging points nearby. The village's 12th-century Church of St. Andrew contains rare medieval wall paintings discovered in the 1960s.
