Avielochan

Avielochan is a small Highland village four kilometres from Aviemore, sitting within the Cairngorms National Park amongst ancient pine forests. Reach it via the A9 to Aviemore, then the B9152 toward Coylumbridge before turning north on local roads. The village preserves one of Scotland's few remaining traditional Highland drove roads, where cattle herders once rested during their journeys to southern markets.
