Aunby is a small Lincolnshire village between Stamford and Bourne, reached via local roads from the A15. The area features typical East Midlands countryside with limestone buildings and hedgerow-divided fields. RAF Wittering sits nearby to the southeast. The village's medieval church of St. Thomas à Becket contains exceptional 14th-century wall paintings.
