Archdale sits along US Highway 311 in central North Carolina's Piedmont, about 15 miles south of Greensboro via I-85. The rolling hills and mild climate make for pleasant year-round driving. Most visitors arrive from the Triad area or use I-85 for longer trips. The city is home to North Carolina's largest Quaker meetinghouse, reflecting its 18th-century Quaker heritage.
