Arbuthnott is a small Aberdeenshire village about 25km south of Aberdeen, reached via the A90 then local roads through Drumlithie. It sits in gentle farming country typical of the Mearns, with good EV charging nearby. The village is best known as the ancestral home of Lewis Grassic Gibbon, author of the classic Scottish novel "Sunset Song."
