Aragon, GA

Aragon is a small city in northwestern Georgia's Polk County, about an hour northwest of Atlanta via I-20 west to US-27 north. The town of 2,500 sits in gently rolling hill country with a classic Southern climate of hot summers and mild winters. Most visitors arrive from Atlanta or Rome (25 miles north on US-27), while State Route 100 provides the main east-west connection through town. The city's claim to fame is a massive concrete arrow from the 1920s transcontinental airmail route, still visible near downtown as a reminder of early aviation history.
