Aghada

Aghada sits on Cork Harbour's eastern shore, a quiet coastal village about 25 kilometers from Cork city via the N25. The route hugs the harbour edge through Cobh, while Dublin visitors can take the M8 to Watergrasshill then connect to the N25. It's handy for exploring East Cork's championship golf courses at Fota Island and Castlemartyr, plus the Jameson Distillery in nearby Midleton and Trabolgan's family waterpark. The village's twin-towered power station has been a harbour landmark since the 1980s, visible for miles across the water.
