Addiewell is a former mining village in West Lothian, easily reached via the A71 from Edinburgh (25km) or connecting to the M8 for Glasgow. The area has over 60 EV charging points and sits amid the rolling hills typical of Scotland's central belt. The village name means "field of the well" in Gaelic, and several historic wells from its mining days remain visible today.
