Aconbury
England
Aconbury lies in rural Herefordshire, six miles south of Hereford via the A49. This small village sits on elevated ground in the Wye Valley, surrounded by working farmland. Access is through country lanes off the A49 near Peterstow, or via the B4521 from the east. The village retains the medieval gatehouse from its 13th-century Augustinian priory, now a private home.
