Achnaba is a small lochside settlement on the A83 near Lochgilphead in Argyll and Bute. The village sits on Loch Fyne's eastern shore, connected by scenic single-track roads to neighbouring communities like Port Ann and Castleton. Most visitors arrive via the A83 from either Inveraray or the Rest and Be Thankful pass, whilst locals make short trips to Lochgilphead for services. The area is famous for Loch Fyne oysters, still harvested using traditional methods.
