Aberfan

Aberfan lies in the Taff Valley, 30 kilometres north of Cardiff via the A470. This former mining village sits within steep valley sides typical of the South Wales Valleys. Most visitors arrive on the A470 from Cardiff (40 minutes) or connect from the M4 at junction 32. The village has over 100 EV charging points nearby and rail access via Quakers Yard station. The Aberfan Memorial Garden features 144 white arches commemorating the 1966 disaster victims.
