Rooms - extremely comfortable
Breakfast - excellent except for the fact that coffee was only available from a do-it-yourself machine which is never good. For this one reason I’d skip breakfast next time and find somewhere else. Freshly brewed coffee is a must.
Pool - clean facilities and great when there are no kids.

We knew we wanted to stay in a Castle and arrived around 8:00 pm. We were greeted warmly and welcoming right away. Our 1st view being night time was wordless, magnificent and wonderful. Definitely will come back. The staff was so warm, friendly and helpful in every way. Between questions about the castle history, things to do in the area, along with something so simple as a cup of tea in the sitting area.

The staff were accommodating and friendly, but I'd like to make particular mention of Leah who attended the restaurant and bar. She was exceptional in both her service and approach in catering to the client side whilst upselling and suggestive selling items and services for the hotel. I was offered things in a way that dialed into my needs without being pushy and done with an immediate consideration for me that was instinctive and exactly what I needed per the given moment. From someone that has travelled 17 countries I have observed that type of service takes skill and is very rare. Sligo Park would be wise to develop Leah in a more leading role to ensure all staff are performing at this very high level.

It was a welcomed me relief from guesthouses or hotels. A tiny, cozy cabin in the Irish countryside. We were delighted that it rained all night and had the patter on the roof. Michelle was very communicative and helpful.

We were mostly in the Strandhill area which is beautiful. Lots of places to eat and drink. Beautiful beach area where surfers were surfing, and Knocknarea to climb if you have the legs for it! Dinner at The Venue and best we’ve had so far.
The Strand Bar was fantastic too. Fresh sweet seafood!

Sligo is a lovely place, both for itself and its location to explore lots of interesting places nearby. There are lots of cafes and restaurants to suit every taste.
The man in the tourist office was so nice and helpful. We were sorry that we couldn't go on the walking tour It sounded very interesting .
The one way traffic system is a bit confusing but we got used to it quickly. Actually, I'd advise people to park the car and just walk.. its much quicker.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. From the moment we checked in we felt the homely atmosphere, and this is down to the friendliness and overall demeanor of the staff throughout the hotel. We used the leisure facilities twice during our stay and the guys there were so helpful and friendly. The staff in Jack B's and the breakfast staff, especially Louise, were great, it is very obvious that the Sligo Park Hotel is a nice and happy place to work, which is a huge compliment to the management, keep us the good work.
Leisure centre was great. Booked a swimming slot on each day which we really enjoyed. Crazy golf on the hotel grounds was fun. A good kids indoor area also. Great location as local bus for Strandhill and Rosses Point stops outside hotel. About a 20 min walk into the town centre so nice to see a bit of Sligo. Staff and service excellent. Great breakfast. Would definitely return and recommend it for families.
Our room in the Sligo City Hotel was quite comfortable for two people. We each had a twin bed with comfortable bedding. The bathroom was great. A very nice shower with great water pressure and shampoo / body wash provided. The hotel was directly across from a good gastropub (we enjoyed our dinner there on Sunday night).
I booked it for my uncle and dad as they were visiting my sister who lives in Sligo.
They said it was clean and lovely.
The staff was welcoming and they had glowing review about the breakfast. Driving almost 5 hours to see my sister it was really nice that the hotel was such a pleasant experience.
Price compared to hotels in sligo but when you add price of taxis into town and buying your own breakfast it might work out same price.
Very spacious lots of room family of 4.
Girl at reception very helpful.
Located within walking distance to everything in Sligo. Mary & Kieron have exquisite taste and have a marvelous attention to detail. They also helped me scout nearby locations. Breakfast was a must!
Ideal for anyone looking to explore Sligo. Standard student accommodation so has all the facilities and isn’t too far from the city centre. Would stay here again.
