We liked very much the old town streets, the sunset views and walking by the seaside. But the restaurants and shops are too touristy. They don’t have personality. We would have like to eat some typical food, but there were non.

Rovinj is a wonderful and unique city in the Mediterranian.
Rovinj is a wonderful and unique city in the Mediterranian. Though we have visited Rovinj at wintertime the weather was fantastic and the city itself was lively though basicly we could meet basicly with locals, who were so kind to us by the way.
You can really enjoy the old city part, which is uniqe and a must see location! There are nothing in a far distant so if You travel there by car you can put that down and you can discover marvellous locations.
There are local shops in the downtown but the supermarkets are also not far away! There is a recreational area situated south from the old city which is also a must visit place and you can enjoy the beach area there also. The city and its neighbourhood is ideal for families, seniors, and companies as well and I highly recommend to see that for everyone!

Hotel Grand Park - Bathroom adjustable mirror too high up, could not see in it. Safe too high to reach or see in it.
Plants outside balcony on 2nd floor rooms spoiled view, they had apparently cost a fortune but were a mess, not tended and grown too high.
Top rail on edge of property, ie room balcony and restaurant, was in direct line of vision when seated so interrupted view. Hotel should have a re-think about this. Maybe flowers would be nice with an irrigation system, would greatly enhance the ambience

Vibrant town with a lot of activities, breathtaking beaches and time to relax and spend time with loved ones.
No clubs or loud noise, and the town dies down at around 11pm or midnight. You can not make a mistake with food - anywhere you go, you will have a tasty meal. Opt for "pljukanci" - traditional Istrian pasta - whenever it is on the menu.
Hotel exceeded expectations. This part of Croatia is beautiful. Hotel is pleasant 15 walk from the "old town" where there are harbour-front restaurants. Hotel has large outdoor pool with drinks shack, small restaurant - try the truffle pasta - excellent! - and place where you can borrow towels. Payment can be made through a water-proof arm band. Breakfast was more than good. Special mention to the concierge - she was really "on the money" and helped us arrange our COVID tests to return to the UK.
Wonderful boutique hotel,7 rooms, maximum of 12 guests in the centre of old town Rovinj.Dom,the manager is an absolute delight, met us at the bus station in his golf buggy to ferry us to the hotel, and also back when we left.Great location in the middle of the old town, which is a pedestrian area, close to great bars and restaurants.Superb breakfast, with eggs made to order, with a great view over the harbour, sitting out on a terrace.Highly recommended, would return in a heartbeat.
We had great holidays there with friends and family. Although there were many guests, the islands as well as the hotel itself were big enough that it never felt overcrowded there. The prices are quite fair and the rooms are minimalistic but good enough and clean.
Our highlights were the great variety of bars and restaurants with slightly different styles, the natural ambient in the small forrests and on the beaches and the very kind staff 👍
If you want to feel like home, you should choose this apt. Highly recommend.
See you soon, and thank you for amazing vacay.
Perfect location. Very important thing that you are in old town, but you don’t hear crowd.
Stores in 50m area: market, pizzeria, boutiques, bakery, restaurants, other stores, laundry service, etc.
Thank you once again dear host. It was a pleasure 🙏
Superb location is convenient yet quiet with beautiful areas to walk adjacent to the property. The hotel is small enough to feel intimate and they serve a wonderful breakfast. What sets it apart is the knowledgeable and friendly staff. Ana in particular had excellent and insightful recommendations. Would not consider staying anywhere else when visiting Rovinj.
Perfect location, very close to the beach. Very friendly and welcome host, available on the phone in the case of any need. The place is close to many historical places (Rovinj historical center, Pula, Porec). The accomodation was very nice, nothing was missing. We would recommend this place for the family stay and would like to return again.
The room was very clean, very comfortable, quiet and had air conditioning. The location is perfect, in the middle of the old town of Rovigno. The hosts made us feel at home and were always available to answer our questions and make our stay special. A parking place was also made available to us not too far from the apartment!
The location is spectacular. The ferry to and from the island was convenient. The food was good and the staff helpful. Our room size was nice and the view overlooking Rovinj was really breathtaking. The hotel is older and can use some updating ( new mattresses, sleeper sofa). We enjoyed our stay and will recommend it.
This was a great place to stay! Very close to many attractions, Old Town Rovinj, restaurants, and Mulini Beach. The host was very responsive and provided some great restaurant recommendations. We also made a couple meals in the tiny kitchen and had everything that we needed to prepare our meals.
Beautiful island. We had the most amazing family vacation there. The beach is very clean and not so crowded, everyone can find their peace of mind on the island. The hotel staff is very kind and the food in the restaurant is excellent, more likely like in a 4/5 star hotel.
The Melagran is an outstanding boutique hotel, with elegant rooms, a great location in the heart of old Rovinj, a great breakfast (in a cafe a few yards down the hill from the hotel) and wonderful staff who enjoy sharing their local knowledge with guests.
The place was just what I was looking for, clean, elegant and the best part is ,,close to beach and all the restaurants in old town of Rovinj..
They welcome me to their home and treated me like family, thank you all so much and I’ll see you soon .
Perfectly situated in the Old Town of Rovinj.
Walking distance to everything including some beaches. Irena was very kind and available to provide all the information we needed. Gave a us a handmade gift at the end which was so sweet!
Very generous breakfast, delicious. Large modern gallery room with big bathroom. Hotel beautifully appointed throughout. Staff friendly and efficient.
Location perfect for waterfront and old town.
The apartment was cozy and well equipped. The owner family was very nice and helpful.
The place is actually very close to popular beaches and even the old town itself (15-20 minutes of easy walk).
It is about 20 min walk to the old town or Lone beach, around 10 to 15 to Cuvi beach. Rovinj is so beautiful that we didn't mind walking. If you are coming with kids, just rent a bike.
Great location, very close to the beach and Rovinj old town.
Beautiful design, very well equipped! I've been in Rovinj many times and this is by far the best apartment I lived in.
