The owners were really sweet and lovely. We paid extra for the warm breakfast and they are not stingy with the servings, so I would recommend. She also gave my daughters some extra Easter eggs she had (since we were there a few days after Easter). The room was clean and quiet. It was about a 15 minute drive to the airport and there's a gas station on the way to refill the rental car.

Balbriggan is an ongoing developing town that will progress to becoming a place to visit for art, music, and culture. There are a few quirky cafes on or close to the main street. This is a town awaiting development.
We ate in the Lala restaurant, an exceptional meal with delicious food. It provided a simplistic choice of 5 starters, and 5 mains to suit all palates. Both the braised lamb and the Seabass were complimented perfectly with tasty sauces allowing the discerning wine drinker to choose either red or white wine.
The wine list was short and provided an excellent choice to match the food available. Although the overall experience was excellent, there may be scope to add a cheese board for those diners who do not eat dessert or prefer a savory finish to their meal.

Balbriggan was our last stop.
Balbriggan was our last stop. This was our fourth trip to Ireland. The town seemed depressed and run down. There were boarded up shops and most of the town needed fresh paint. People weren't as friendly and seemed distrusting. There was "community watch" in tact and the community was extremely diverse. Ireland is always grand no matter what, but I would not slot this town on my itinerary again.

Balbriggan is a lovely town outside Dublin . The beautiful sea surrounds it and I love hearing the sea gulls. Lots of amenities and shops there and it was nice and quiet at night time, to sleep in . Not too far from Dublin City Centre .

It's a quiet little town on the beach with only little of interest but the outdoors. So depending on what you like you choose the period of time you want to stay here. In all honesty, I was there to visit a friend and we did a lot of outdoors stuff so I could have stayed a lot longer. If you are only there for culture you can do with 2 days................ It also has good transport in the Dart, train and bus.

Balbriggan was ideal, its location to Laytown races was great (9 euros return on the train).
We had a curry on the same road as the train station it was superb.
Plenty of bookies and pubs for the gamblers amongst us.
The Bedford House and staff were wonderful. The room was the best we stayed in Ireland and everything was clear and comfortable. The breakfasts appeared to be excellent (as I was told by my family), but I came to Bedford House not well and was not able to enjoy the food. That was certainly not their fault. They bent over backwards offering help to bring any food I could eat to my room and they helped my family find the pharmacy and also some other places they could eat at night. I would definitely go back there if I am ever in the area again.
Exceptional Establishment in every which way. Room and entire Premises was warm friendly and cosey. Breakfast was included in the price and was cooked to perfection. The presentation of the Breakfast was also first class. The attention to detail in respect of the hotel fit out is truely amazing. Ive lived in Ireland for just over one year and have stayed at many hotels, this one is the best of the bunch by a country mile. A big thank you to all Staff whom just could not be more helpful.
rooms are dated but the bed is so comfortable! great room facilities- Tv excellent tea&coffee making area and showers hot! spotless clean
FOOD was exquisite! we have the 3 course in the main restaurant and every serving was superb!
Lauren was amazing in the restaurant! super chatty and a great staff member for the hotel
breakfast was good also
free parking was a bonus
I stayed here about 5 years ago and thought it was average and kind of pricey at the time. I was more impressed during this second stay. I was alone this time so only had a single room, but it was immaculately clean. Lovely comfortable bed, and good value and good quality breakfast in the morning. I have family in balbriggan so I'll definitely be back sometime.
Great helpful, courteous staff who went above and beyond to help us as we needed to extend our stay by three nights. Very comfortable rooms, and great breakfast and pub food in the restaurant in the hotel. Convenient to many other places in Balbriggen! Complimentary parking was a great added benefit! Thanks for a great stay! :-)
The hotel is a gorgeous building with really tasteful decor. The room was large, the bed was comfy, the shower was hot and all the extras that were provided were very good quality. I especially liked all the toiletries in refill bottles.
The breakfast at la-la was superb and all the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Room was very nice. Perfect location to stay flying in and out of Dublin airport. We liked it so much coming into Ireland that we stayed there again the night before leaving Ireland from Dublin airport. The restaurant/bar was superb. Should have eaten there our first night, but we didn’t know it was so awesome!
Venue is rather weird, and more like a b&b than an hotel. Certainly not ‘luxury’ - decor fin de siecle. Rooms in two locations in a music centre. Cafe restaurant in one. Bed was fine, room lacked chair, so had to sit on bed. Parking beside restaurant. Breakfast good range, cooked to order, lots of vegan
Breakfast was excellent despite my order being mixed up. The hotel was a surprise since we were expecting a reasonable place to get our heads down en route to Cork from Scotland. Staff were very pleasant and helpful.
Very cute boutique hotel in a town near the beach. Very close to the Ardgillan Castle. Friendly staff who also gave me a packaged breakfast for my early departure to the airport. The La La restaurant was also good
Well established hotel, lovely old building sympathetically decorated.
Large very comfortable rooms
Good self service buffet breakfast with plenty of choices
Staff friendly and helpful
Lovely welcome as you come through the door. The staff are excellent in customer service skills.Best food in Ireland.Bar staff pull a lovely pint on draught.Spotless rooms and comfy beds.
The room had alot of space and i didnt feel crammed into a small hotel room. I didnt have any dinner or breakfast but the bar downstairs and other sitting areas looked very comfortable.
